Denmark 2.0 is the authoring tool editors at AGI, Times Internet Limited use to publish articles and live blogs. We studied how editors work and redesigned the tool to raise adoption and cut support tickets.
The objectives were maximum user satisfaction, an easy-to-use interface, a customised interface for each publication, and a single platform for everyone.
Following the IDEO human-centred design model, the work started with usability testing and ended with validation: competitive and data analysis, design benchmarking, persona mapping, usability testing with 12 editors, task flows and information architecture, then wireframes, visual design and a high-fidelity prototype tested with 22 editors.
